Since early 2022, Mr. Fedorov lives in Manila building Salmon, a technology-centric bank (regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas), created to improve access to financial services and consumer financing for more than 500 million customers underserved by the legacy financial services industry in Southeast Asia. Salmon’s main shareholders include International Finance Corporation (private-sector arm of the World Bank Group), ADQ (the sovereign wealth fund of Abu Dhabi) and other global and regional venture capital investors that jointly invested more than $60MM in the company.

Prior to that Mr. Fedorov had a long financial services and executive career in the City of London, Moscow and Dubai.

Having joined Morgan Stanley's London office in the Associate Class of 1998, he spent nine years in the European Telecoms, Media and Technology Banking becoming the Managing Director in 2007.

 

He subsequently left Morgan Stanley in 2009 taking executive and advisory roles with a number of London Stock Exchange-listed companies.

 

In 2021−2022 he became the co-chief executive officer of TCS/Tinkoff, one of the world's leading fintech companies, charging the build-up of its global business out of Moscow and in the international markets.

In Q2 2022 Mr. Fedorov left TCS/Tinkoff to move to Manila becoming a co-founder of Salmon, a fintech company, focused on rapidly growing markets of Southeast Asia.
 

Since its inception Salmon raised more than $60MM of financing from world-class investors, including ADQ (the sovereign wealth fund of Abu Dhabi) and International Finance Corporation, to empower millions of Filipinos with access to modern and convenient financial services.
